Mission: Infinite Arcade’s mission is to create a gaming network where players have an almost unlimited supply of play-and-earn games. Layered on top of an existing ecosystem, players, creators and studios will be able to play, share, and trade games without central control, enjoying the ability to earn tokens.

NFT’s and the genesis collection: Our NFT’s will exist on the Polygon chain, due to its speed and low transaction fees. Polygon is a cost effective chain with low congestion and high trading volume. For rewards we will use the Polygon network to reduce gas fees on rewards earned. NFT’s will function as Avatars that let players into the Infinite Arcade. The IA NFT platform will eventually be programmable so that artists, designers and studios can come up with specific functionality for collections they want to bring to IA.

Where to buy: Initially, we will offer a presale NFT token that can later be redeemed as a unique NFT. Presale tokens will be available on our website. Once launched, the user will be able to visit the website, connect their wallet and purchase a presale NFT. There will be a limited number of NFTs that can be purchased in a single transaction to prevent hoarding. On launch of the true NFT token, presale tokens will be burned and the NFT will be airdropped to their wallet.

How to get started: All that is needed to play-and-earn within the Infinite Arcade is to download a game within the multiverse. Once downloaded, the player can open the settings screen of the game and click the Infinite Arcade button in order to connect their wallet. We will utilize Wallet Connect to support users using a multitude of different wallet applications, but would suggest Metamask as this is currently the most popular. The user must be connected to the Polygon Mainnet, users may need to add this network to their wallet.

Once the wallet is connected, we will perform an automatic search for any of the IA NFTs which either belong to that wallet, or have been associated with the connected wallet. Providing there is at least one NFT, the user will then be able to play viable games with the play-and-earn model. Rewards earned whilst gaming will be visible in game, and once claimed will be transferred to the NFT owners wallet.

Managers and scholars: IA is designed for all types of investment, be it time or money. That is why we have an in-built portal for buyers/guilds who are interested in earning passive income but are time poor. Equally, IA has made it easier for players who are priced out of the fun but still want to play and earn. The control hub makes it easy for both Managers and Scholars to play games and see a breakdown of their earnings.

Managers

From the control hub the Manager can sign in with their wallet. They will be able to see all of their purchased IA NFTs. The Managers can play our games with these NFTs or can choose to assign some, or all of, their NFTs to one or more Scholars. The interface provides an intuitive journey for managers to select, and associate, NFTs with a Scholar’s wallet address. At no point will the NFT belong, or be transferred, to a Scholar; they will always exist in the Manager’s wallet. With our Association Contract, the Managers can simply associate the NFT with a Scholar of their choice. The Manager, if they so choose, can play games with their own NFTs, but by default all NFTs are associated with the owner address unless changed by the Manager.

The Manager and Scholar both have the ability to revoke these associations, so at any point a Scholar can stop working with a Manager and vice versa.

Scholars

Once a Manager has associated an NFT with a Scholar’s wallet address, the Scholar can then select that NFT to play in-game.

Rewards

Earnings accrued whilst playing with the NFT will ultimately be sent to the Manager’s wallet and it will be the responsibility of the Manager to payout a previously agreed percentage to the Scholar once that reward has been claimed.

Rewards will use the Polygon network, in order to reduce the fees on earnings.

Breakdown

From the control hub the Manager will be able to monitor earnings per NFT and also see which Scholar addresses earned rewards, making it straightforward for the Manager to manage payouts.

Please note, IA takes no responsibility for payouts and should be considered a part of the Scholars and Buyers of platform relationships.

Summoning (breeding): Users will have the ability to summon a new NFT providing they have at least one IA NFT in their wallet. By selecting the NFT they want to summon, the user will receive a new NFT and the original will remain unaffected. An NFT can be summoned a maximum of five times.

In order to summon, the user will need to log into the control hub and access the Summoning room, here they can see the full list of owned NFTs and the balances of the IA $TIC token. Users can then select the NFT they wish to use for the summoning and click the summon button. This will create a wallet transaction for the user which costs $TIC initially and some gas. Once the transaction has been confirmed, the new NFT will appear in both the wallet and on the summoning page.

Monetizing NFTs

The marketplace will allow digital artists to convert art into non-fungible tokens, otherwise known as NFTs, on the Polygon blockchain, where they can be sold to traders, collectors and guilds.

Initially, the price of the NFTs will be set by the IA but in future, we plan to give the creators the ability to price themselves. When pricing Creators will need to think about a number of variables such as uniqueness, boosts and eventually abilities.

In the beginning, there will be one NFT type but we plan to expand.

Arcades - Coming soon

Arcades are land-like NFTs where games can be hosted. Arcades charge a rental fee to host games. Arcades will increasingly serve as the primary discovery method for IA as they will be governed by the community that owns them and they will drive discovery. By creating an incentive loop of owning and operating discovery at the community level, we look to avoid inefficient ways of distributing games through a centralized platform such as an application store.

Arcades are owned and governed by the community. Communities can set missions and encourage higher usage through leaderboards, daily active challenges and prize draws. The more creative they are, the more engagement they will push to their Arcade, and can in time charge higher rent to studios who benefit from engaging with the community. This feedback loop will incentivise communities to nurture their Arcades and thus create a more positive and social experience for the users. Arcades are not designed to be avenues of transactional promotions (like ads or other similar mechanisms). Arcades will work and grow as long as the community governing it is engaged both at the community level and in the games they choose to play. Further details of this will be discussed with the IA ecosystem and partners and designed with input from the community.
